The Ranch
Family built & operated since 1964, Triple Drop Ranch resides in Duval county just 9 miles from the closet town of San Diego, TX.

Nearly 3 decades ago, the sighting of a deer on the ranch (antlered or not) was a rarity. We faced numerous neighbors that contributed to high hunting pressure & an unwillingness to adopt conservation efforts. Ultimately the 10,000 acre property was high-fenced in attempt to preserve and rebuild the remaining wildlife.

Many hunting ranches will introduce genetics or implement breeding operations to produce big deer in a short timeframe. While we have nothing against those that do, it's our belief that the greatest satisfactions in life come from things that take time. It's for this reason that we have decided to keep our herd fully native with no exotic introductions or selective breeding. To us, this ensures that our guests receive a true rarity that is a high end & authentic South Texas hunting experience.
